Shower radio clock plus#
On the plus side, it did last much longer than the Sony. Works But Many Frustrations, I bought one of these very inexpensively after two far more expensive Sony shower radios died. Great little clock, (What's this?) This is a really nice little waterproof clock - the metal case is solid and heavy, and the face and hands are bright and very visible - I particularly like the red tips on the hands. Not the case!Īs other said, the tuner would reset itself to the beginning of the dial when turned off and retuning it to a station was very difficult/time consuming. The major problem was the radio - the shower bug is primarily a RADIO, so one would expect to be able to use that functionality relatively easy. The radio's digital time was clear, making watching time in the shower quick and easy.

I listen to talk radio, and that has a very peculiar range to hit to sound audible. It is best heard at a slight angle due to the tiny speaker, but it does its job well enough for a shower. The speaker is not that wonderful, so fidelity is lost when it is placed far from the listener. Good enough for the shower., (What's this?) For an electronic device that hangs in the shower, it does its job well. It is hard/a pain to find radio stations, but for the price you cannot expect a digital dial and functionality offered in other shower clock/radios. They have worn out a bit over time and I may have to push them back on more often, but the unit has never fallen. I got it for my brother who took showers for too long and essentially we ran out of hot water.
Shower Bug!!!, (What's this?) The shower bug is a fun clock/radio for the shower. If I could give it negative stars I would. Sound: Awful, Reception: Worst, and to top it off, it only scans to get the station and you don't know what station it is.īig pile of poo, As soon as the water hit it, the radio's sound tone changed and never was the same again. Wished I'd read the previous reviews before I brought this worthless item. JUNK, (What's this?) I really wasted my money on this. If I thought it was worth the effort, I would return it. Radio gets very poor reception, and you have to search to find your station every time you turn off the radio.
Don't buy item, (What's this?) I wish I had read reviews before I purchased this item.
